Does Managing with Mindfulness take insurance and how does that work?

Yes! We are in network with the following:

We cannot guarantee we will check your benefits prior to your intake appointment. We recommend you to call your insurance carrier prior to your appointment. Your insurance carrier will be able to provide you with information about your mental health benefits.

If you have out-of-network benefits, we will provide services to you a self-pay client.

Some helpful questions you can ask your insurance carrier are listed below:

  • What are my mental health benefits?

  • Do I have to meet a deductible before my sessions are covered? If I do, what is my deductible?

  • If I do not have a deductible or I do not have to meet it, what is my financial responsibility per session?

  • How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?

  • How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Mallory is licensed in IL and NJ.

Linda is licensed in IL and IN.

What do I need to do before my first session?

The admin department will send you intake paperwork via email to complete.

How long is each appointment?

Each session is approximately 55 minutes, but some may be longer or shorter based on the client’s needs.

How much is each session out-of-pocket?

  • Intake sessions are $175

  • 60-minute psychotherapy session are $150

  • 45-minute psychotherapy session are $140

Do I need therapy?

We believe that everyone can benefit from therapy, whether they are happy, depressed, or somewhere in between. It gives you a chance to truly invest in yourself. Therapy provides coping strategies and problem-solving skills for anxiety, depression, and stress (work, academic, relationship, etc.) and can help you gain a better sense of self.

Is therapy confidential?

All sessions are confidential except the following due to the Illinois Mental Health Confidentiality Act:

  • Suspected past or present abuse or neglect of children, adults, and elders.

  • If the therapist suspects there to be a harm to the client, others, or the therapist.


Do you offer telehealth services?

Yes, we are a telehealth only group practice!
