Linda Carlson, LCSW

Clinical Director, Psychotherapist

(She/Her/Hers)

I am currently accepting new clients !* With 13 years of experience in the mental health field, my passion has been coming alongside caregivers of all forms because often that is the person who also needs individual care and connection to keep going. Caregiver fatigue is real and not easily recognized, manifesting in depression, anxiety, irritability, or being overwhelmed. Self-care can feel excessive, impractical or maybe just one more thing on your to-do list. It's not, it is necessary! I love working within the frameworks of Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but we can explore other options as we go that resonate with you. Ultimately, how can I support you?

I also very much enjoy working with adults who are struggling with anxiety and/or depression. It can be difficult to navigate personal change, loss, life transitions or maintaining motivation (Looking at you: new parent, caregiver for aging family or person transitioning children out of the home). Are you feeling stressed or stretched thin? We can work on that together.

There are always strengths in the situation that we can build on and maximize. You are not alone. I look forward to learning more and supporting you on your journey.

I am LCSW able to provide therapy in the states of Illinois and Indiana.

Feel free to reach out to me to via email or phone as I offer a FREE 15-minute phone consultation.
