Mallory Khan, LCSW

CEO & Founder

(She/Her/Hers)

Accepting new clients! I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with my Master of Social Work in 2015, where I focused on mental health and Animal Assisted Therapy, specializing in health social work. I also earned my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Saint Mary’s College in 2014 (I am also a big Notre Dame fan!). I am a certified therapy dog handler having trained Belle, my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Poodle dog. I also am a newer mother to a little one named Isabel!

With compassion and empathy, I help clients discover the tools and resources one needs to make meaningful change.

I am open to answering any questions about who I am, my background, my interests, and my family.

Life can be tough.

Let’s say that again: life can be tough. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has primarily worked with adults facing anxiety and depression, I have had many clients, all with their own individual story, who have shown me what it means to walk through some messy things in life.

My therapeutic style is not straight out of a textbook; I am a therapist who is going to show up for my clients in a way that is authentic and true. I may make jokes, fumble over some phrases, or ask those questions that bring up tears that have been buried for quite some time. I read the room with the client of what is necessary in that moment. I am intentional and not afraid to gently push the client to live the meaningful life they were meant to live.

Feel free to reach out to me to via email as I offer a FREE 15-minute phone consultation.

Focus Areas

I work closely with new mothers, college students, and new graduates. Many new mothers and also new college graduates are faced with anxiety due to their life transition(s) which can bring on stress, depression, and/or anxiety with the many questions centered around, β€œWhat am I going to do next in my life?” β€œHow do I navigate my new identity as a mother, while still keeping my other identities?” I can help trouble shoot those questions, as I too have asked myself them. I help clients navigate that question through collaborative sessions while also using a nonjudgmental and empathetic stance.

I also find it incredibly rewarding to work with clients in the mental health field. I cherish the opportunity to share my knowledge around creating work-life balance to reduce compassion fatigue and enabling practitioners with the tools to embark on their own private practice journey.
